Six values.
One standard.
These are not words we chose because they sounded well together. They are the things we hold one another to, and the grounds on which we hold our place.
The six values
The Builder Code,
in practice.
Values become real only as behaviour. These are the standards every builder keeps, and keeps one another to.
Hold yourself to the standard before anyone asks you to.
Give before you take, and keep no ledger.
What is shared in the Circle stays in the Circle.
Say the true thing, and say it kindly.
Show up prepared, or do not show up.
Celebrate another builder's win as if it were your own.
Offer help before it is requested; ask for it before it is too late.
Leave every room, and every person, better than you found them.
Reach back. Lift the next builder through.
Protect the Circle's name with your own.
A standard kept by everyone
becomes a standard worth keeping.
